I understand and accept that scouting is a skilled and physically demanding activity, and I accept that there is a risk of injury when participating in activities and wish to partake in the activities conducted by Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland.

Subscribing to Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland

I have read, understood and subscribe to the “Presentation and Educational Project of the Union Internationale des Guides et Scouts d’Europe Fédération de Scoutisme Européen (UIGSE-FSE)”, the Child Safeguarding Policy and Best Practice for Scouters, Internal Rules & Health and Safety Policy of Guides and Scouts of Europe –Ireland. (These files can be found on the registration website, iNET or can be obtained from the administrator). I will provide the necessary references, and undergo training and Garda Vetting to take part in the activities conducted by Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland.

Code of Behaviour

I am aware and I accept that a breach of the Code of Behaviour, Internal Rules and Policies of Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland by me may result being asked to leave the organisation.

Loss or Damage to personal property

I accept that Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property/belongings caused, during or connected with the activities organised by Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland and I waive forever all and any claims against the company and its members in this respect, for myself.

Personal data and information on application

I understand that the personal data on this form will be used by Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland for the purpose of registering (or re-registering), maintaining the applicant’s membership, and for communications concerning activities of Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland. I understand that the Personal Data will be retained by Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland for as long as the applicant remains a member. I understand that the applicant can resign their membership by writing to Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland and that all their personal data will then be erased, except for a minimum membership record for archival purposes.
